Happy Men’s Health Week!!!

Don’t miss this key national Men’s Health Conference:

There are still a few places available at the joint Health Service Executive and Men’s Health Forum in Ireland conference titled: ‘From Policy to Practice: Profiling the Impact of Ireland’s National Men’s Health Policy’.  This event will take place on Thursday 13th June 2013, in Dr Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin 8. Next to Hueston Station.

The aim of this free event is to profile the key outputs in the area of men’s health in Ireland that have been delivered since the publication of the Men’s Health Policy and Five Year Action Plan in 2009, and to set priorities for key policy areas in men’s health in the future.

For more detail on the programme and the application process, see: The remaining places will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.

The Men’s Development Network played a key role in formulating this policy between 2000 and 2009 and has been contracted by the HSE to promote it nationally from its launch in 2009 until 2014. It is very important for men’s health that the work that has been established since the launch of the National Men’s Health Policy is continued beyond its current lifespan. So come along this Thursday and help us to make sure that men’s health remains a priority into the future.
